About:

Sonic Strikes Back is a Sprite-Based 2D Sonic game inspired by Knuckles' chaotix and Sonic Mania. It takes place directly after Sonic Spinball

I started making it from both a Love for the blue rat, and for the new island. I want to really strive to make the Level Design, Theming, and etc as perfect as possible.

The Game is currently set to feature around 20 Zones, each with 2 Acts. with the first act introducing the ideas and theme of the zone, and the Second act Iterates and plays with these concepts. There will be one boss per zone, in Act 2.

Story Section: 

After a rare moment of peace, Sonic is pulled back into action when Eggman’s Chaos Nexus device mutates the world itself. With cities merging with forests, unpredictable landscapes, and the formidable Sentinels of Chaos guarding Eggman’s stronghold, Sonic has his work cut out for him. Can he and his friends—Tails, Knuckles, and new allies like Renata and Honey the Cat—restore balance before it’s too late?
